About the Role

This individual will be responsible for collaborating with a cross‑functional set of stakeholders across the business to drive improvements in operational buyers' roles within the Center of Excellence. The role includes procuring direct materials in compliance with plant and corporate regulations (QA, SCM), communicating and coordinating with network schedulers for plan and execution updates, and understanding material requirements to process requisitions and issue purchase orders to suppliers. The incumbent works closely with suppliers to ensure on‑time material delivery to the plant, executes exception messages (postponement, anticipation, cancellation) and manages internal escalations, while resolving internal discrepancies and external issues such as delivery problems, claims, and quality concerns. Collaboration with logistics partners and suppliers ensures material delivery per incoterms, and the individual evaluates and monitors supply performance (SOTD), partnering with suppliers and category managers to implement corrective and preventive actions for on‑time performance improvement. Supplier invoice management and support in resolving holds for timely payments, maintaining inventory levels according to objectives, and coordinating with inventory analysts and network schedulers for optimized stock are also key responsibilities. The role includes coordinating with Supplier Quality for RMA of defective parts, supporting engineering, product managers, and CMs during phase‑in/out (ECN management), and maintaining purchasing data such as price, lead time, MOQ, MOV, and sourcing status in collaboration with Data Health and Commodity teams. Utilizing all digital tools available for SCM to maximize efficiency, the individual shares best materials‑management practices, drives continuous process improvement, establishes process standards, ensures compliance with materials‑planning processes, and reports in alignment with the network and global supply‑chain organization. Resolving DC/Plant put‑away issues, handling purchasing escalations, working with suppliers and sourcing teams to expedite shortages, identifying root causes, developing corrective actions, and leading improvement projects are essential parts of the role, along with best‑practice sharing to prevent future escalations. What You Bring

Qualifications: 7‑10 years of relevant experience in Materials Planning/SCM, a graduate degree (master’s preferred) in Materials, Production, or Operations Management, and strong functional knowledge and detailed understanding of materials‑management and replenishment planning concepts. • Require 7‑10 years Materials Planning/SCM experience and master’s degree in related field.
