About the Role
The inspector ensures construction quality and compliance through on-site inspections, testing, and documentation, while supporting the project team and maintaining clear communication. • Inspect construction work and conduct field tests to ensure compliance with contract documents and codes. • Perform daily on-site inspections, maintain accurate records, and track quality-assurance progress. • Participate in punch-list activities, testing, and commissioning of roadway and bridge projects. • Monitor on-site construction activities and run material tests. • Assist and coordinate with the Senior CEI Inspector, providing support and supervision as needed.

What You Bring
Applicants must possess at least a high school diploma, relevant experience, and a valid driver’s license. Additional certifications in areas such as concrete, asphalt, earthwork, and traffic signal inspection are preferred. • Communicate inspection findings clearly in written and verbal English. • Minimum qualifications: high school diploma (or equivalent) plus at least 2 years of related experience. • Valid U.S. driver’s license and successful Motor Vehicle Records review. • Preferred certifications: CTQP Concrete Field Inspector I, CTQP Asphalt Roadway I, CTQP Earthwork Construction Inspection I, CTQP Pile Driving Inspection, CTQP Final Estimates I, CTQP Drilled Shaft Inspection, IMSA Traffic Signal Inspector I, Nuclear Radiation Safety, FDEP Stormwater Inspector.
