About the Role
The Account Executive is responsible for prospecting, selling, and growing profitable waste and recycling business within an assigned geographic area. The role requires selling the full suite of Republic Services products, including containers for municipal solid waste, recycling, electronic and universal recycling, and delivering comprehensive waste‑stream management solutions to new clients. Key duties include identifying and qualifying leads, following up on lead generator referrals within two hours, and maintaining activities in Salesforce. The executive prepares and delivers sales presentations, conducts cold‑calling and phone blocks to secure appointments, and negotiates with decision‑makers to close deals. Ongoing market analysis, cross‑selling additional services, and completing required agreements and paperwork are also essential.

What You Bring
