Job Highlights
About the Role
The Millwright Mechanic repairs and maintains machinery and mechanical plant equipment—including pumps, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines—using hand and power tools, precision measuring instruments, and adjustment procedures. This role conducts regular maintenance rounds, inspections, and adheres to manufacturer specifications and operational manuals. • Repair process equipment (pumps, hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical systems) • Maintain mobile equipment such as loaders and forklifts • Troubleshoot and monitor process equipment • Interact with equipment operators to determine needs • Utilize welding and fabrication tools to alter, repair, and fabricate equipment • Execute the preventative maintenance program • Document and report all maintenance work and advise on future requirements • Test and adjust equipment to meet performance specifications • Maintain a clean and safe working environment • Operate company equipment safely and responsibly at all times • Adhere to OHSA workplace health and safety standards • Participate in on‑call rotation as needed
