What You Bring
As the team moves from SQL and Oracle to Azure technologies, you will help maintain and enhance data processes, preparing them for new ways of working. This position is data‑heavy and requires strong technical capability beyond basic Excel skills. • Adapt to evolving toolsets and BAU operations during the Azure migration. • Demonstrate strong SQL experience across Oracle and Microsoft SQL platforms. • Efficiently work with large, complex data sets and troubleshoot data issues. • Exhibit a systems mindset and adapt from SQL to Azure technologies. • Experience with Azure technologies is desirable. • Familiarity with Microsoft Purview or other data lineage/governance tools is a plus. • Background in data analysis within utilities or asset management is advantageous.

Benefits
The position closes on 11 February 2026 and is based at any Southern Water office with a hybrid model, predominantly remote. It is a full‑time contract offering up to £38,000 salary, flexible working options, and requires travel to Durrington (Worthing) once per month.
