What You Bring

We are seeking an experienced Urbanism + Planning professional to join our Queensland team as Sector Manager. The role will lead a multidisciplinary team of architects, landscape architects, urban designers and planners, while driving business growth, building client relationships, and ensuring technical excellence. The manager will also support team development and uphold AECOM’s standards of quality and safety. Ideal candidates hold a tertiary qualification in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning or a related discipline and are eligible for professional registration. They bring 20+ years of urbanism and planning experience, including leadership of complex multidisciplinary projects, strong business development skills, and a proven record of delivering high‑quality results. Experience with First Nations stakeholders, digital innovation and inclusive practice is highly valued. • Hold tertiary qualifications in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Urban Planning or related fields, with professional registration eligibility. • Bring 20+ years of urbanism and planning experience, including leadership of complex multidisciplinary projects. • Demonstrate a strong track record in client relationship management, business development and winning strategic proposals. • Exhibit a strategic mindset with commitment to innovation, digital capability, inclusive practice and experience working with First Nations stakeholders.
