About the Role
The Project Manager reports directly to the Operations Manager and will actively contribute to the development and implementation of Operations Excellence, potentially overseeing operations personnel as well. • Manages resources by planning, scheduling, and forecasting manpower and resource requirements. • Coordinates project in accordance with contract documents and approved sales estimate. • Manages all document control for projects, including RFI's, meeting minutes, punch lists, transmittal log, submittal log, change order log and issues log. • Prepares project billing revenue forecasts and schedules of values. • Reviews all estimates and change orders for accuracy and approves team project submittals. • Accountable for financial management on all assigned projects. • Prepares installation subcontractor bidding documents and negotiates subcontracts. • Obtains, organizes, and maintains all project contract documents per Schneider Electric quality policy. • Prepares and updates project schedule and cost estimates. • Delivers final project documentation to the customer and collects payment. • Responsible for all customer‑facing communication. • Completion of Project Management Development Program.

What You Bring
The company is seeking an experienced Project Manager for Building Automation who possesses industry knowledge, strong customer service skills, and a solid understanding of contracting procedures such as project correspondence, documentation, claim notices, subcontract negotiation, and administration. The role requires advanced knowledge of HVAC, access or other building and electronic control systems, the ability to analyze control system drawings and schematics, and familiarity with contract law, codes, standards, and construction practices. Strong leadership abilities, including team empowerment through delegation, are essential. • 3‑5 years experience as Project Manager in Building Management Systems, HVAC Controls, Data Centers or Construction industry. • Knowledge of basic BACnet, LON, and MODBUS protocols. • Strong organizational skills and ability to operate in highly charged situations. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Strong collaborative skills with internal and external stakeholders. • Working knowledge of Office 365, file structures, and Visio. • Customer service mindset.

Benefits
For this U.S.-based, full‑time position, the total compensation range is $100,000‑130,000 per year, which includes base salary and a short‑term incentive. Salary ranges are set by comparing roles of similar responsibility and level, and individual pay is influenced by performance, knowledge, job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
