About the Role
The Fleet Coordinator supports field operations by maintaining an organized, efficient, and auditable equipment and fleet inventory system. The role coordinates equipment availability, mobilization, and demobilization across multiple projects and geographic locations, oversees procurement and transportation, and works with vendors to ensure compliance with schedules, pricing, and contracts while maximizing utilization and cost efficiency. • Maintain an organized, auditable equipment inventory system. • Develop and implement standardized tracking methods and minimum inventory thresholds. • Coordinate equipment mobilization and demobilization while monitoring utilization. • Procure, allocate, and transport equipment to support multiple projects and locations. • Interface with vendors to ensure delivery schedules, pricing, and contract compliance. • Verify equipment classification, rates, and cost allocations per internal controls. • Identify, recommend, and document process improvements and best practices. • Collaborate with Operations, Fleet, Procurement, and Finance teams. • Comply with all safety requirements and use required personal protective equipment.

What You Bring
• Prior experience in equipment procurement or fleet coordination within utility construction. • Experience supporting unionized construction operations preferred. • Associate degree or equivalent with 3–5 years relevant industry experience. • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations is a plus. • Proficiency with MS Office; Power BI or similar reporting tools preferred. • Strong organizational, detail‑oriented, multitasking abilities in a compliance‑driven environment. • Ability to lift 25–50 lb, travel (including overnight), and work in varied field and office settings.
