Technical Administrator - Fixed Term Contract
Provide admin support to technical team, handling orders, docs, coordination.
Job Highlights
About the Role
The role provides efficient, customer‑focused administrative support to the Technical team, ensuring smooth department operations. • Raise internal architectural/engineering purchase orders in COINs and set up new consultants for payments. • Liaise with consultants to establish framework agreements, health and safety questionnaires, and professional indemnity insurance. • Maintain development records, produce meeting minutes, photocopy, answer phones when technical staff are unavailable, and file documents. • Assist in clearing building regulation and NHBC conditions to achieve CMLs. • Coordinate development drawing pack issues and maintain drawing registers. • Support planning submission document coordination. • Create and manage webpages for new developments, monitoring and updating them regularly. • Assist with the appointment of external professional consultants. • Produce and issue customer health, safety, and environmental documents. • Monitor and request building completion certificates. • Issue planning applications via SharePoint to head office. • Provide reception cover when required. • Monitor and maintain the department's document‑hosting system. • Request postal addresses from local authorities and issue them within Taylor Wimpey. • Request MPANs/MPRNs and issue them.

What You Bring
• Organisational/administration background. • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. • Experience working in time‑critical environments. • Ability to work effectively in a team. • Experience in financial management. • Previous experience in housebuilding or construction (preferred). • Knowledge of multi‑utilities.
