About the Role

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Superintendent will oversee construction to ensure alignment with design intent, budget constraints, and schedule milestones. Responsibilities include planning and coordinating onsite activities, supervising subcontractors, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and providing technical guidance on drawings and construction methods. The role also involves assisting in schedule development, site logistics planning, and supporting the site‑specific safety plan while liaising with owner representatives. • Supervise construction to meet design, budget, and schedule objectives. • Plan, coordinate, and oversee onsite functions such as scheduling and subcontractor management. • Ensure crafts and subcontractors comply with contract documents and use resources efficiently. • Provide technical assistance, including drawing interpretation and construction method recommendations. • Assist project management with schedule development, site logistics, and implementation of procedures and standards. • Support the site‑specific safety plan and coordinate with on‑site owner personnel.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a four‑year degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related discipline (high school diploma or equivalent is required), and possess at least 20 years of field supervisory experience, including a minimum of 10 years as a Superintendent on projects valued at $200 million or more. Required expertise includes new building construction, knowledge of U.S. construction methods and contract management, proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS, HeavyBid, OSHA and First‑Aid certifications, and strong written and verbal communication skills. • Hold a four‑year degree in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field (high school diploma or equivalent required). • Minimum 20 years of field supervisory experience, with at least 10 years as Superintendent on projects valued $200 million or more. • Experience in new building/structure construction, including piles, concrete, and structural steel. • Knowledge of U.S. construction methods, techniques, standards, and contract management; familiarity with local trade unions. • Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Procure, Bluebeam, HCSS, and HeavyBid software. • Hold OSHA certification and First‑Aid certification. • Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Benefits

The salary range for this position is $160,000 to $220,000, dependent on experience. Tutor Perini Corporation will not consider candidates from staffing agencies.
