About the Role

The role involves preparing switchboard manufacturing information (MI) using Bid Manager, Design Automation (DA) and AutoCAD to satisfy mechanical and electrical customer requirements. The incumbent provides input to the Bid Manager development team on design and pick‑table enhancements. They support assembly and fabrication teams by resolving process and information‑quality problems. Additionally, they work closely with engineers during order reviews and process improvements to ensure accurate interpretation of customer‑supplied order data. • Prepare switchboard manufacturing information using Bid Manager, Design Automation, and AutoCAD. • Provide design and pick‑table enhancement feedback to the Bid Manager development team. • Assist assembly and fabrication teams in resolving process or information‑quality issues. • Collaborate with engineers during order reviews and process improvements.

What You Bring

Candidates must meet one of the specified education and experience criteria: an associate degree in Applied Science with a focus on Engineering Graphics Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or Mechatronics Engineering Technology, or a high school diploma/GED with at least one year of experience generating bills of materials and 2‑D assembly drawings, or three years assembling electrical distribution equipment. The position requires legal authorization to work continuously in the US without sponsorship. Experience with Autodesk tools such as AutoCAD and Inventor is required, along with a minimum of five years of drafting and manufacturing information generation experience. Familiarity with Sumter switchboard systems—including Bid Manager, Plant Order Manager, OMS, and other AS400 programs—is also needed. • Hold an associate degree in engineering graphics/technology, or a high school diploma/GED with relevant experience. • Have at least five years of drafting and manufacturing information generation experience. • Be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. • Proficient with Autodesk tools, including AutoCAD and Inventor. • Know Sumter switchboard systems such as Bid Manager, Plant Order Manager, OMS, and AS400.
