About the Role
The engineer will handle site development engineering and project management across diverse land‑development projects, delivering civil design, permitting, and using hydrology and storm‑drainage modeling tools, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. Additional duties include research, coordination, staff oversight, cost estimating, bid‑package preparation, and drafting technical specifications, while receiving mentorship and exposure to plan production, project financials, and client interaction. • Perform site development engineering and project management for land development projects. • Complete civil site design and permitting. • Utilize hydrology modeling, storm‑drainage programs, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. • Conduct research and coordinate project activities. • Manage staff and oversee cost estimating. • Prepare bid packages and technical specifications. • Interact with clients and gain exposure to project financials.

What You Bring
Candidates must have three or more years at a civil‑engineering design firm, a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited program, and an Engineer‑In‑Training or Engineering Intern certification (or be able to obtain it within 12 months). Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, strong communication, a sense of urgency, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively are required. • Minimum 3 years experience at a civil‑engineering design firm. • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree from an ABET‑accredited civil engineering program. • Obtain Engineer‑In‑Training or Engineering Intern certification within 12 months. • Demonstrate working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Exhibit excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication. • Show strong sense of urgency and self‑initiative to meet deadlines. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

This role is on‑site, not remote, and offers a salary range of $110,000‑$135,000.
