About the Role

The specialist will advise the C‑130 Information System Security Manager, develop cybersecurity strategies, program protection plans, and produce RMF artifacts for Interim Authorizations to Test and Authorizations to Operate. They will review program documentation to ensure security requirements are satisfied, analyze weapons‑system components for risks, and identify mitigation solutions. Compliance with RMF controls and testing will be ensured. • Advise the C‑130 ISSM and develop cybersecurity strategies, protection plans, and RMF artifacts for IATT and ATO approvals. • Review program documentation to verify that security requirements are addressed and sustained. • Analyze integrated weapons‑system components (data, software, hardware) to identify risks, vulnerabilities, and mitigation solutions. • Ensure cybersecurity controls and testing comply with the Risk Management Framework. • Provide RMF lifecycle support for developmental aerospace programs and collaborate with program offices.

What You Bring

KBR seeks an experienced Cybersecurity Specialist to support the acquisition of aeronautical systems and subsystems for the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center C‑130 Program Office at Robins Air Force Base. The specialist will develop and analyze cybersecurity engineering artifacts, support integration of advanced avionics, and address complex cyber threats. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (or eight years of related experience) and five to seven years of information systems security experience, along with DoD 8570.01‑M IAM Level I certification. Experience with the Risk Management Framework lifecycle, collaboration with program offices, and background in weapon‑system or avionics software is preferred. A Secret clearance is required. Desired qualifications include familiarity with DoD 5000.02 acquisition policies and experience with the C‑130 or similar fixed‑wing military aircraft. • Hold a bachelor’s degree (or 8 years equivalent experience), 5‑7 years of InfoSec experience, and DoD 8570.01‑M IAM Level I certification. • Maintain a Secret clearance; familiarity with DoD 5000.02 acquisition policies and C‑130 aircraft experience is a plus.
