About the Role
The primary purpose of this role is to provide management of the engineering function with accountability for station needs and regulatory requirements. The role manages the performance and development of assigned engineering personnel to meet site and corporate objectives and ensure high‑quality engineering results. It provides technical leadership for short‑term and long‑term programs that affect site operations, and participates in business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews. The position also serves as a senior resource for NGG‑wide engineering system and process initiatives and may be called upon for emergency response, departmental coverage, call‑outs, and support of outage activities outside the department. • Manage engineering personnel performance and development to achieve site and corporate goals. • Lead short‑term and long‑term engineering programs impacting station operations. • Participate in business planning, budgeting, and performance reviews for engineering staff. • Serve as senior resource for NGG‑wide engineering systems and process improvement initiatives. • Provide emergency response, departmental coverage, and support outage activities as needed.

What You Bring
The minimum qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or a related science, a Professional Engineer license or active/inactive SRO license, and at least five years of engineering experience with one year in a nuclear power plant. Candidates must meet the ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 standard for nuclear personnel qualification and satisfy access and medical requirements. Preferred qualifications include Professional Engineer registration, an advanced technical degree such as an MBA, and supervisory or managerial experience. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline or related science and a Professional Engineer or SRO license. • Possess at least five years of engineering experience, including one year in a nuclear power plant. • Meet ANSI/ANS‑3.1‑2014 nuclear personnel qualification standards and access/medical requirements. • Preferred: Professional Engineer registration, MBA or advanced technical degree, and supervisory experience.
