About the Role
The Manager, Business Development & Marketing provides business‑pursuit support for brokers by coordinating and implementing proposal strategies that maximize wins and improve JLL’s pitch process. This role leads a team of sales‑enablement professionals aligned with the business and works closely with internal stakeholders to deliver compelling proposals. • Innovate and create new business pitch materials that align with the brand and client needs. • Lead strategic discussions with internal clients to shape new business opportunities. • Manage the end‑to‑end RFP response and proposal development process, gathering content from SMEs and ensuring compliance. • Drive presentation development by synthesizing stakeholder input, defining story frameworks and directing data visualization. • Organize and conduct preparation meetings with partners, principals and senior brokerage professionals to ensure alignment. • Write and adapt proposal content, and produce customized presentation materials for sales messaging. • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and marketing teams to meet strict deadlines. • Perform advanced document formatting and presentation design. • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously with minimal direction while maintaining quality control. • Maintain a best‑in‑class library of creative marketing assets and track pursuit results and feedback.

What You Bring
The position is based on‑site in New York, NY, with an estimated compensation range of $95,000–$115,000 per year. JLL does not sponsor visas; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. • Minimum 7 + years of experience in professional writing, business development or sales strategy. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical writing, English, journalism or related field. • Proven ability to manage sales pursuit processes such as RFPs and presentations. • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and strong knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite. • Excellent written and verbal communication, with hybrid technical‑creative writing style and strong proofreading/editing skills. • Ability to organize time, handle multiple fast‑paced projects and build rapport with internal and external clients.
