About the Role
The Confidential Waste Technician role involves working with internal and external stakeholders at client sites to securely collect, handle and dispose of sensitive documents and confidential materials. You will manage the complete lifecycle of confidential waste, maintaining strict chain‑of‑custody procedures and ensuring compliance with data‑protection regulations across multiple locations. • Manage secure collection, handling, and disposal of sensitive documents from designated containers. • Ensure proper segregation of paper and electronic media while processing waste requests via CMMS. • Arrange safe transport using locked bins and coordinate pickup/drop‑off with service providers. • Maintain accurate logs of stationary and temporary bin locations and support program optimization. • Interact professionally with clients during collection visits and address disposal questions. • Adhere to strict chain‑of‑custody and security protocols during collection, transport, and processing. • Complete documentation and certificates of destruction to meet GDPR, HIPAA and other regulations. • Pass background checks and maintain security clearance.

What You Bring
• High school diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and follow strict procedures. • Exhibit excellent organizational and time‑management skills. • Physically lift up to 50 lb regularly and stand, walk, and lift for extended periods. • Possess manual dexterity for operating equipment and handling materials. • Previous experience in waste management, logistics, or a similar field. • Experience with document destruction or confidential waste handling. • Knowledge of data‑protection regulations and security protocols. • Familiarity with CMMS systems and documentation procedures. • Experience operating and maintaining material‑handling equipment.

Benefits
This part‑time position is based at multiple client locations in St. Paul, MN and does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States. Estimated compensation ranges from $20.00 to $24.00 per hour, with final packages based on qualifications, location and market conditions.
