About the Role
The Southern Ohio Construction Services Lead will provide engineering expertise and management oversight for a variety of construction projects, nurture client relationships, and ensure optimal engineering practices throughout project delivery. • Provide engineering expertise and management oversight for the development and construction of quality construction projects • Build and nurture relationships with existing and prospective clients • Manage personnel matters, workload, consultant service contracts, and establish optimal engineering practices • Plan, prepare, analyze documents, and manage construction contracts • Forecast and track fiscal budget and cash flow for workforce, facilities, vehicles, equipment, and other resources • Assist various crafts, disciplines, and subcontractors in executing their work • Coordinate and manage project quality assurance, control, and inspection services • Coordinate and manage survey and layout work in the field • Collaborate with other HDR divisions such as Water and Rail on CE/CI needs

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, construction science, or a related discipline, or possess equivalent experience, and have at least two years of construction planning and management experience. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, or Bluebeam is required, along with a strong commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture. • Preferred: ODOT or municipal road/bridge experience • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Construction Science or related field, or equivalent experience • Minimum 2 years of experience in construction planning and management, including field engineering, submittals, estimating, scheduling, and site safety • Experience with Microsoft Office • Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Prolog, Primavera, Bluebeam, etc. • No sponsorship for US employment authorization now or in the future
