About the Role
As a Visiting Scheme Manager you will be responsible for overseeing two housing schemes, working independently with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will support residents, helping them maintain their well‑being and independence while managing your own workload and prioritising tasks. Key duties include organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as the building structure, and overseeing contractors who provide cleaning, gardening and window cleaning services on annual contracts. You will ensure the schemes remain safe, well‑maintained and pleasant for all occupants. You will act as the first point of contact for resident complaints, lease‑hold enquiries and property alterations, requiring excellent communication and the ability to empathise with residents, typically aged 60 plus. Building strong relationships with residents, contractors and clients is essential. • Manage two housing schemes (Russell Court and Spring Meadows) independently. • Prioritise workload and provide resident support to maintain well‑being and independence. • Organise repairs, maintenance and communal area upkeep, including cleaning, gardening and window cleaning. • Supervise contractors on annual contracts and ensure timely service delivery. • Serve as first point of contact for resident complaints, lease‑hold enquiries and property alterations. • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, contractors and clients. • Utilise IT tools such as Outlook and Word for reporting and communication.

Benefits
The position offers a salary of £7,205.24 per annum and is based in Midhurst, covering Russell Court and Spring Meadows. It involves a permanent contract with 9 hours per week at Russell Court and 2 hours per week at Spring Meadows. The role is operated by Grange Property Management, part of Clarion Housing Group. A good standard of IT knowledge is required; you will use applications such as Outlook and Word to manage information and reporting. Russell Court comprises 21 flats, a manager’s office, communal car parking, a garden, lounge, guest room and toilet, while Spring Meadows has 22 flats with similar communal facilities. • Receive a salary of £7,205.24 per annum with permanent contract and associated Clarion benefits.
