About the Role
The Incentive & Grant Specialist, working under general direction, will identify, secure and manage incentive and grant opportunities that advance energy efficiency, sustainability and performance‑contracting projects. Collaboration with internal teams and external agencies is essential to maximize funding and ensure compliance with program requirements. • Research and analyze grants, rebates and incentive programs at federal, provincial and municipal levels • Develop strategies to integrate incentives into project proposals and financial models • Prepare and submit grant applications and supporting documentation accurately and on time • Maintain relationships with funding agencies and stay current on program changes and new opportunities • Track and report on incentive/grant status, ensuring compliance with all terms and conditions • Collaborate with sales, engineering and project teams to align funding opportunities with client goals • Provide guidance to internal stakeholders on eligibility criteria and documentation requirements • Monitor project performance to validate incentive claims and manage reporting obligations • Build strong relationships with internal teams and external funding bodies • Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders • Ensure timely and accurate submission of applications and reports • Stay informed on industry trends, sustainability initiatives and emerging funding opportunities • Assist performance engineering consultants in researching problems or opportunities, monitor energy consumption, gather information, initiate corrective actions and keep managers informed

What You Bring
• Use analytical and organizational skills to manage multiple incentive programs simultaneously • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field (preferred studies: thermodynamics, hydronics, psychrometrics, environmental or facility operations) with 5+ years in building systems/operations or 10+ years of consistent performance data collection in mechanical systems • 3+ years experience in grant writing, incentive management or a related role • Knowledge of energy‑efficiency programs, sustainability initiatives and building systems (asset) • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Available for local travel as required
