About the Role

The consultant will engage with sales teams, demonstrate product capabilities, and oversee system installation at client sites. Interaction with senior managers, project managers, and a variety of technical specialists is required, as is leadership of junior engineers. Key responsibilities include planning and facilitating internal and client kickoff meetings, regular project reviews, and acceptance testing (model, factory, and site). The position also requires development of functional specifications, execution plans, work packages, testing plans, and comprehensive project documentation while upholding industry‑standard quality management procedures. • Lead and deliver chemical/refining engineering simulation projects, managing schedule and execution. • Coordinate cross‑functional teams from software support to customer interfacing throughout the project lifecycle. • Participate in sales calls, showcase product capabilities, and install systems on client sites. • Supervise junior engineers and collaborate with senior specialists, clients, and project managers. • Organize and conduct kickoff, review, status, and acceptance meetings (model, factory, site). • Create functional specifications, execution plans, work packages, testing plans, and project documentation. • Enforce industry‑standard quality management procedures.

What You Bring

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field, and possess experience with distributed control and safety instrumented systems, including proficiency in differential equation analysis, unit operations, process control diagrams, PLCs, HMI interfaces, and related documentation. • Travel up to 25 % to client locations; eligible for two remote work days per week. • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemical/Electronic Engineering or related field (or foreign equivalent). • 3 years (BSc) or 1 year (MSc) experience with distributed control systems and safety instrumented systems. • Proficiency in solving temporal differential equations and applying related methodologies. • Knowledge of unit operations such as drums, separators, heat exchangers, compressors, turbines, distillation columns, dryers, absorbers, evaporators, and reactors. • Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams, P&IDs, PFDs, and advanced process control schematics. • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, operating manuals, control logic, SIS functionality, and shutdown/startup procedures.
