About the Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Café Manager on the Health and Education team, reporting to the Retail Services Manager. In this high‑profile healthcare setting you will help deliver exceptional customer experiences while driving operational excellence and team performance. The role supports essential services and ensures high‑quality outcomes. You will oversee the day‑to‑day running of the café, maintaining high standards in food and beverage service, staff presentation and customer experience, and meeting contractual and franchise obligations. You will foster a welcoming environment, respond to feedback, lead and coach a collaborative team, and uphold HR, health‑and‑safety, food safety and hygiene standards. Managing rostering, cash handling, inventory and reporting will be key to optimizing performance and meeting targets. • Oversee daily café operations, ensuring food, beverage, staff presentation and customer service standards. • Foster a welcoming environment and promptly address customer feedback. • Lead, train and coach the café team while ensuring HR compliance and performance standards. • Manage health and safety, food safety and hygiene practices. • Control rostering, cash handling, inventory and reporting to meet performance targets. • Apply planning, business operations and financial performance expertise. • Communicate effectively with staff, customers and managers.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has proven hospitality or service‑industry management experience with a strong focus on customer service. You should demonstrate leadership and people‑management skills, the ability to plan and drive business operations and financial performance, and excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to build relationships with the team, customers and managers. A strong work ethic, positive attitude and commitment to high‑quality outcomes are essential. • Bring proven hospitality management experience with strong customer‑service focus. • Demonstrate strong leadership, people‑management and team development abilities.
