About the Role
The Division Purchasing Manager is Century Complete's chief local trade and vendor recruiter. With support from our Corporate Purchasing team, this role is responsible for sourcing the products we need to build in a cost‑effective and timely manner. The manager will bid and monitor construction costs, review purchase order pre‑releases, consult with underperforming sub‑contractors, analyze financials and variance reports, and ensure compliance with corporate purchasing initiatives and OSHA safety standards. • Recruit and maintain sub‑contractor staff to meet home construction timelines. • Onboard new sub‑contractors, ensuring all paperwork is complete and properly routed. • Bid and monitor construction costs to secure best market prices for labor and materials. • Review purchase order pre‑releases for accuracy before job start. • Consult with and manage sub‑contractors failing to meet company standards. • Analyze division financials and variance reports to maximize profitability. • Participate in corporate national purchasing program initiatives for division compliance. • Monitor division compliance with OSHA safety standards and train field personnel.

What You Bring
Successful candidates have strong negotiation skills, excellent written and verbal communication, deep local sub‑contractor relationships, and the ability to run and review reports to identify needs aligned with company initiatives. Qualifications include at least two years of experience with purchasing software and electronic purchase orders, two years of management experience, and ten years of new construction experience.
