About the Role
The Accounts Assistant supports the Financial Accountant and Group Financial Controller in processing transactions for Robertson Group Limited and its subsidiary entities. The position involves daily, weekly and monthly financial tasks to ensure accurate records and compliance. • Prepare daily bank reconciliations • Assist in weekly cashflow forecasts • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations • Post monthly journals • Manage fixed asset ledger and depreciation postings • Perform monthly ledger reconciliations • Prepare and submit monthly CIS returns • Raise sales ledger invoices and post contract sales invoices • Resolve unallocated cash • Verify bank details before weekly payment runs • Collate information for PSA • Prepare monthly inter‑sector settlements • Assist in quarterly VAT returns • Assist with monthly accruals and pre‑payments • Support audit activities

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has experience working in a finance department with solid accounting knowledge and a relevant qualification or equivalent experience. Strong communication, analytical thinking, Excel proficiency and the ability to set realistic objectives and solve problems are essential.
