About the Role
The Performance Expert will serve as a Master Resilience Trainer, delivering holistic strength and conditioning instruction, managing training intake, developing customized training plans, preparing and distributing course materials, facilitating events, grading participants, and recording results in required databases. They will evaluate training impact through surveys, produce After‑Action Reviews within five workdays, compile quarterly analysis reports, observe and coach other instructors, and ensure their own certification for effective delivery. Instruction focuses on applying resilience and performance enhancement to unit missions, building professional climates of trust, counseling skills, critical thinking, and mental‑skill techniques. • Instruct individuals in holistic strength, conditioning, and resilience as a Master Resilience Trainer. • Conduct training intake, develop customized plans, and prepare/distribute course materials. • Facilitate training events, grade participant work, and record grades in required databases. • Collect post‑training surveys, produce After‑Action Reviews within five workdays, and generate quarterly impact analyses. • Observe and mentor other instructors, providing feedback on training delivery. • Complete initial instructor certifications and maintain training records. • Teach application of resilience and performance enhancement to unit missions, fostering trust and team cohesion. • Provide tailored educational programs and workshops to support personal, professional, and family goals. • Participate in professional training and development for career advancement.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a master’s degree in psychology, counseling, coaching or kinesiology with a sport/performance emphasis, teaching or coaching experience (preferably with military/DOD personnel), thorough knowledge of Army structure and policies, and certification prior to task performance. Preferred credentials are professional certifications such as CMPC, ABSP, or membership in AASP, obtainable within a year of hire.
