About the Role

In this role the incumbent will lead health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives and empower the team to execute related projects. They will also manage and mentor junior staff while delivering the Self‑Led Holistic Training Academy through engaging digital learning experiences. Collaboration with the People and Culture team and subject‑matter experts will shape training and curriculum strategies, define learning objectives, and develop assessments. The specialist will ensure content remains up‑to‑date, accessible, and aligned with organizational capabilities. • Lead health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives on projects. • Manage, coach, and mentor junior staff to meet department deliverables. • Design and deliver engaging eLearning and digital content using tools such as Articulate 360. • Collaborate with People and Culture team and SMEs to develop training and curriculum strategies aligned with business objectives. • Define learning objectives, create assessments, and measure training effectiveness. • Develop innovative, inclusive training materials applying adult learning principles and competency‑based design. • Maintain content management practices to keep training materials current and accessible. • Utilize e‑learning platforms, AI assessments, gamified checkpoints, and digital simulations to enhance learning experiences. • Provide regular reports on training outcomes and alignment with curriculum strategy to senior management. • Ensure quality standards for all learning materials and alignment with instructional objectives.

What You Bring

The company is seeking a Senior Learning Design Professional to execute the design, development, and implementation of technical eLearning content. This role will deliver innovative self‑paced and blended learning solutions that meet business needs. The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least six years of instructional design experience, and proficiency with e‑learning platforms. Strong communication, problem‑solving skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines are essential. • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Education, Educational Technology, Business, or a related field. • 6+ years experience as an Instructional Designer or similar role creating diverse learning content. • Proven ability to manage multiple learning projects simultaneously. • Knowledge of competency‑based education, data‑informed learning journeys, and immersive storytelling. • Experience developing curricula, course outlines, lesson plans, and learning materials. • Track record delivering online training programs, preferably in Development, Design, Engineering, or Construction. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • Proficiency with enterprise software (e.g., Microsoft 365) and collaborative teamwork. • Excellent problem‑solving, decision‑making, and conflict‑resolution abilities. • Professional certifications such as SHRM‑SCP, SPHR, or organizational development/coaching certifications (optional). • Experience with Articulate 360 products (advantageous).
