About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Supervisor leads daily maintenance operations in a high‑precision aerospace manufacturing environment, supporting CNC machining centers, lathes, mills, multi‑axis machines, and related automation. The role ensures maximum equipment uptime, safety, and compliance with aerospace quality and California safety regulations. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, coordinating emergency repairs, and overseeing machine installations, moves, and commissioning. The supervisor also develops and monitors preventive‑maintenance schedules, tracks equipment reliability metrics, and manages maintenance documentation in a CMMS.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has at least five years of experience in manufacturing supervision or engineering, strong leadership abilities, and the capability to read and interpret technical drawings, procedures, and GD&T. Candidates must be highly organized, thrive in fast‑paced environments, be proficient with Microsoft Office tools, and possess aerospace or defense industry experience. The position is based in Maryland and is not eligible for visa sponsorship (H1B, OPT/CPT, TN, etc.). Applicants should apply via Stanley Black & Decker’s internal or external careers site. • Five (5) years minimum experience as a Manufacturing Supervisor, Manufacturing Engineer or equivalent role. • Five (5) years minimum of Supervisor/Leadership experience in a manufacturing setting. • Ability to read and decipher drawings, procedures, and GD&T. • Strong working knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and/or programs. • Must be well organized, ability to work in a fast paced‑environment and work well under pressure. • Attendance and punctuality at work are essential functions of this position. • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Project, Word, Outlook). • Aerospace and/or Defense industry experience.
