About the Role
The estimator will review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to define bid requirements, calculate electrical construction costs, and consult with clients, vendors, and internal departments to develop accurate estimates. Responsibilities also include attending site walk‑throughs, preparing detailed bid documents with scope letters and cost adjustments, and identifying any inconsistencies or conflicts. • Review project plans, specifications, and bid documents to determine bid requirements. • Calculate electrical construction costs based on documentation and site conditions. • Consult with clients, vendors, and internal teams to develop estimates and resolve issues. • Attend job site walk‑throughs to address field conditions affecting bids. • Prepare bid documents, including scope letters, cost adjustments, and identify inconsistencies. • Deliver accurate, detailed, and competitive estimates.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent combined with an Electrical Apprenticeship, or a bachelor’s degree in construction management, plus at least four years of experience on commercial, industrial, and service projects. Required knowledge includes the NEC, local codes, materials, and construction methods, as well as proficiency with MS Office, Outlook, Accubid, and AutoCAD, and strong verbal and written communication skills. • High school diploma/equivalent with Electrical Apprenticeship or bachelor's in construction management. • Minimum 4+ years experience on commercial, industrial, and service projects. • Strong knowledge of NEC, local codes, materials, and construction methods. • Proficient with MS Office, Outlook, Accubid, and AutoCAD. • Excellent verbal and written communication; outgoing and personable.
