About the Role
The Virtual Construction Engineer supports project teams by creating virtual construction content for pursuits and by executing virtual construction plans throughout design and construction phases. Key duties include developing visual sequencing and logistics content for proposals, assisting with virtual construction planning, reviewing design models, documenting conditions with laser scanning, drones and 360° photography, and producing VR/AR experiences to improve communication and coordination. During construction, the engineer leads model‑based MEP and building envelope coordination, ensures installations meet safety and quality standards, captures job‑site progress, aligns virtual construction schedules with overall project timelines, and collaborates with trade partners and integrated service teams. • Design visual sequencing and logistics graphics for bids and client meetings. • Build virtual construction models and plans for preconstruction and design stages. • Analyze and coordinate design team BIM models to identify conflicts. • Record site conditions using laser scanning, drone imaging, and 360° photography. • Create immersive VR/AR experiences to aid project communication. • Lead MEP and building envelope coordination using model‑based workflows. • Ensure installations meet safety and quality requirements. • Capture and assess on‑site progress with scanning and imaging tools. • Synchronize virtual construction timelines with overall project schedules. • Develop and maintain relationships with design teams, trade partners, and service groups. • Support BIM initiatives and propose innovative technology solutions. • Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks for deliverable creation.

What You Bring
The position requires a bachelor’s degree in BIM, construction management, architecture, or a related field, 0‑3 years of general contractor experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks, strong communication and relationship‑building skills, and a self‑motivated, detail‑oriented work style. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in BIM, construction management, architecture, or a related field. • Bring 0–3 years of general contractor experience in construction. • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication abilities. • Work independently and collaboratively, with a detail‑oriented, self‑motivated approach.
