About the Role
The Logistics Team Lead plays a key role in order fulfillment, ensuring raw materials and finished goods are properly received, picked, and prepared for shipment, and managing both domestic and international freight. • Coordinate inbound and outbound freight across three manufacturing locations. • Receive raw materials and prepare finished goods for shipment. • Manage international freight for outbound shipments. • Supervise loading of shipments of all modes, ensuring timely departure, completeness, and accurate documentation. • Provide backup support for the Shipping Coordinator, handling domestic and international shipping paperwork. • Follow ISO procedures. • Participate in Supply Chain team critical metric reviews. • Conduct training for the Shipping team. • Oversee Shipping 5S and safety program. • Lead teams across multiple locations. • Perform varied warehouse tasks, operate forklift and hand truck, and lift boxes up to 50 lb. • Enter shipping transactions into ERP manufacturing and customer web‑based systems.

What You Bring
Ideal candidates have dock and forklift experience or a production background, are proficient in Microsoft Office for creating reports and schedules, and can lead teams across multiple locations while performing physical warehouse tasks such as operating a forklift and lifting up to 50 lb. Candidates should be driven, resilient, and possess excellent customer service and problem‑solving abilities. Attention to detail, the ability to prioritize multiple tasks, and meeting deadlines are essential. • Demonstrate dock and forklift experience or prior production role at Mercury Plastics. • Proficient in Microsoft Office; create reports, worksheets, charts, schedules, and procedures. • International shipping experience (plus). • Exhibit excellent customer service and problem‑solving skills; detail‑oriented, able to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
