About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets company safety standards before each shift and complying with all company, state, and federal regulations while on the road. Key duties involve performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, loading, compacting, and disposing of waste in accordance with safety policies, and following route sheets to service each customer. Drivers must interact professionally with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers, identify and tag unsatisfactory containers, clean any accidental spills, and continuously monitor the condition of the truck, cleaning waste from equipment on each trip. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections. • Operate collection truck safely along assigned routes. • Load, compact, and unload waste according to safety procedures. • Communicate courteously with customers and dispatchers. • Tag and report unsatisfactory waste containers. • Clean accidental waste spills following safety standards. • Monitor and maintain vehicle condition daily. • Complete route sheets, productivity logs, and VCRs. • Meet departmental productivity and safety standards. • Participate in the ReSOP safety program. • Participate in retirement plans with company match and ESPP.

What You Bring

Drivers are required to complete daily route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports, meet productivity standards, and actively participate in the company's ReSOP safety program. The position demands strong customer‑service skills, reliable time management, adherence to company policies, and a sense of pride in one’s work.
