About the Role
• Connect with peers and leaders through mentoring programs and the Young Professionals Network. • Evaluate, select, and apply architectural techniques to construction documents under guidance of architects and project managers. • Perform architectural assignments with general instruction from the Project Architect or Project Manager. • Work directly with owners/clients to select and recommend procedures when needed. • Write architectural specifications and conduct code reviews. • Assist Project Architects, Architectural Project Coordinators, or Technicians and take responsibility across all project phases.

What You Bring
HDR seeks a Senior Design Coordinator for its Atlanta Architecture studio to advance a regenerative, carbon‑balanced building portfolio by 2030. The role offers hands‑on experience on diverse projects, mentorship, and the opportunity to grow toward licensure while contributing to regenerative design goals. • Master's degree in Architecture. • Experience with healthcare, educational, civic, science, and research facilities. • Interest or experience in low‑carbon and healthy materials. • Interest or experience in regenerative design/LBC. • Interest or experience in sustainable design/LEED/SDGs. • Interest or experience in Fitwel/WELL standards. • Familiarity with AIA Framework for Design Excellence. • Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp, and 3‑D Studio Max. • Experience with Rhino and Grasshopper. • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field. • Minimum 5 years of professional or internship experience preparing details, specifications, and construction documents. • Eligibility for future licensure registration. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project). • Strong leadership, communication, and relationship management skills. • Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities. • Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and related tools. • Demonstrated graphic presentation skills.
