Job Highlights
About the Role
In this role, you will participate in small- to large-scale environmental and heavy civil projects, including heavy civil, demolition, remediation, dredging/waterway, and general contracting work. You will ensure deadlines and quality control measures are met, evaluate project work against a predetermined timeline and budget, and align with the organization’s strategic goals. • Assist with project proposals, reviewing RFPs, obtaining quotes and estimating • Support the Superintendent in managing project timelines, deadlines and requirements • Serve as key point of contact for ordering materials and equipment • Conduct GPS surveying and equipment set up • Perform estimating takeoffs • Assist with weekly timesheets, expense reports and project tracking • Provide training to other team members as needed

What You Bring
The position requires remote work on project sites with regular rotations home, and candidates may be located anywhere in the USA. Travel throughout the United States up to 50% of the time is expected. Successful candidates will have a construction-related degree and preferably two years of construction experience. Desired skills include AutoCAD/Civil 3D, estimating and GPS software, strong organizational and communication abilities, and proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. • Hold a construction-related degree • Preferably have two years of construction experience • Possess AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience (a plus) • Understand estimating software and GPS software • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities • Exhibit strong communication skills and the ability to work both within a team and independently • Be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel • Be able and willing to travel throughout the United States up to 50% of the time
