About the Role
• Complete site visits within the assigned market • Take legible field notes for aerial, buried, underground, and building construction drawings • Analyze work site and design requests to determine scope of work • Deliver projects on schedule while ensuring quality • Communicate concerns or updates with the OSP Designer • Interact professionally with internal and external customers, representing Byers and the client • Adhere to all company safety practices and policies • Align work schedule with customer hours and project deadlines • Perform outdoor site visits in various weather conditions; remote work possible • Wear appropriate attire and meet on‑site safety standards

What You Bring
The role requires a high school diploma or technical coursework, a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and authorization to work in the U.S. Candidates must pass pre‑employment screening, including a non‑negligent driving record, and be willing to adapt to evolving industry trends through continued education. • Knowledge of telecom, fiber, and outside plant (preferred) • Experience with utilities, cabling, or construction • Strong communication for daily interaction with various teams • Above‑average penmanship for hand‑drawn field notes • High school diploma; technical school or community college coursework preferred • Authorized to work in the U.S. • Pass pre‑employment screening, including clean driving record • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Willingness to be trained and stay current with engineering design best practices
