About the Role

The primary role is to safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, adhering to WM safety policies, OSHA, DOT regulations, and all applicable laws. Drivers perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections, complete DVIR reports, and ensure each receptacle is emptied, leaving the site clean and free of debris. Drivers must promptly report unsafe conditions, incidents, and service interruptions to the Operations Manager or Dispatch, attend all required training and meetings, and work closely with management to improve route efficiency. End‑of‑day documentation and check‑out processes are completed, and drivers may assist colleagues to meet customer needs. • Operate heavy‑duty trucks safely on transfer routes, complying with WM safety rules, OSHA, DOT, and all local, state, and federal laws. • Perform pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete DVIR (Driver Vehicle Inspection Report) documentation. • Report unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, and service interruptions promptly to Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Attend required training programs, briefings, and meetings; collaborate with Operations Manager to improve route efficiency. • Dump all receptacles, keep customer locations clean, and complete end‑of‑day documentation and check‑out procedures.

What You Bring

We are seeking experienced CDL drivers, with industry experience preferred, and offer a pathway for advancement. Walk‑in interviews will be held on Thursday, February 12th from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm, and a yearly boot allowance is provided. Required qualifications include a valid CDL Class A or B with air‑brake endorsement (or one year of equivalent military driving experience within the past seven years), being at least 18 years old, and eligibility to work in the United States. Preferred qualifications are a high school diploma or GED. The position involves physical tasks such as standing, walking, lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, reaching, handling, sitting, talking, and hearing, with reasonable accommodations provided as needed.
