• Own proper tools for repairs • High school diploma or GED • Mechanic experience or military service • Understanding of diesel, electrical, and hydraulic systems • Demonstrated technical, mechanical, and troubleshooting skills • Technical certificate or associate degree • Experience on heavy and light construction equipment • Servicing experience with aerial and man lifts • Knowledge of hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors • Welding experience (a plus)
