About the Role
Operates a self‑propelled grader to spread and level dirt, gravel, and stone to meet grading specifications in the construction and maintenance of earthwork structures. The grader operator conducts safety and maintenance checks, starts and controls the machine, coordinates with the truck driver for material loading, avoids hazards, performs routine equipment maintenance, and follows the company’s safety policies. • Conduct safety and maintenance checks on assigned equipment and machinery. • Start engines, operate throttles, switches, levers, and pedals to run the grader. • Signal the truck driver to position the truck for loading dirt, rocks, or other materials. • Avoid potential hazards and obstructions such as utility lines, equipment, and falling objects. • Perform equipment maintenance including oiling, greasing, and necessary adjustments. • Follow the company’s safety policies and procedures as outlined in the safety manual.

What You Bring
Applicants need at least two years of related experience or an equivalent blend of education and training, and must be able to meet the physical demands of the role, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various weather conditions. • Minimum two years of related experience or equivalent education and training. • Ability to sit, stand, bend, climb, lift up to 50 lb, work at heights, in confined spaces, and in all weather conditions.
