About the Role

In this high‑level position you will provide management review and oversee a regional team, developing business plans, pursuing opportunities, and executing a wide variety of projects, organizational structures, and processes. You will be responsible for aligning regional initiatives with the national market strategy and ensuring successful delivery across the practice area. • Build and lead regional staff, coordinating all market‑focus activities. • Maintain high client satisfaction while generating new and expanding existing revenue streams. • Cultivate networks with architects, PM/CM firms, general contractors, and other business partners. • Track leads, forecast project pipelines, and develop winning strategies and teams. • Keep the team informed of regional and national market trends and technical advancements. • Facilitate internal information sharing for staffing and project pursuits. • Ensure technical excellence in project delivery and resolve complex issues. • Create and align regional business plans with national market strategies. • Collaborate with other practice areas, geographies, and services to execute plans. • Design tactics to acquire new clients, increase national sales, and secure higher‑margin work. • Oversee project financials, inter‑office and client reporting structures. • Articulate the firm’s value proposition to differentiate in the market. • Lead and support integrated‑services sales presentations. • Provide leadership and problem‑solving to guide teams and partners to successful project outcomes. • Produce technical articles, white papers, and present at industry conferences. • Strategically recruit senior staff with market‑specific expertise and mentor direct reports.

What You Bring

• Demonstrate leadership, strategic thinking, and strong communication in fast‑paced environments. • Hold a B.S. in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) and PE licensure. • Possess 15+ years of market design experience and 7+ years of management and business development. • Deep knowledge of MEP systems and experience developing engineering or construction business. • Willingness to travel regionally on the East Coast and occasional international trips. • Exhibit strong teamwork, independent work capability, and excellent organizational skills.
