About the Role

The Senior Project Manager leads the setup, implementation, and execution of construction projects through completion and handoff to the end user. Projects span mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire, civil, industrial, and architectural applications for the client, Humana. In collaboration with Directors, the manager contributes to project strategy development and executes plans within Cushman & Wakefield's business unit. Responsibilities include organizing people and resources, providing construction cost and benefit analysis, and overseeing project implementation to completion. The role entails managing overall project cost, schedule, risk, and scope, as well as developing the project charter and execution plan. The manager drives scope and contractor performance to meet schedule and cost objectives while maintaining control over budgets. Key tasks involve preparing RFQs/RFPs, reviewing subcontract proposals, negotiating contracts, and auditing contractor cost estimates. The manager also develops and maintains the Master Project Schedule, tracking performance against critical path milestones. The Senior Project Manager guides the client and team through design implementation, procurement, and construction, leading client‑facing meetings and handling due diligence, programming, entitlements, permitting, and sustainability considerations. Oversight may extend to capital improvement programs across multiple sites, requiring extensive interaction with client staff and internal customers. Leadership duties include mentoring less‑experienced team members, coordinating multi‑site resources, and demonstrating proficiency with P&P technology tools. What You Bring

Required competencies include exemplary oral and written communication, complex problem solving, functional strategy analysis, and the ability to lead project teams and manage staff. Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, with at least ten years of construction industry experience, preferably in life‑sciences or high‑tech manufacturing. • Require minimum 10 years of construction industry experience; life‑sciences or high‑tech preferred. • Hold a bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of interpreting architectural/engineering drawings.
