About the Role
The Project Engineer will independently apply engineering principles, create advanced designs, and ensure quality through review of project documents. Responsibilities include preparing scopes, budgets, proposals, and coordinating with AutoCAD Civil 3D teams while meeting budgets and deadlines. The role also involves field investigations, hydraulic calculations, pump‑station design, and providing technical guidance to junior staff. Interaction with clients, contractors, and internal teams is required through meetings and review of submittals. • Apply engineering principles independently across diverse assignments • Prepare advanced engineering designs and technical data with high accuracy • Utilize advanced techniques and theories to complete project tasks • Design and review complete project documents for conformity and QA • Develop and implement new or improved design techniques and processes • Analyze data, formulate solutions, and solve engineering problems • Prepare and review scopes of work, budgets, and schedules • Create proposals for professional services • Lead engineers, technicians, and administrative staff • Plan and coordinate detailed engineering work • Represent the organization as an engineering expert • Use AutoCAD Civil 3D to deliver projects within budgets and deadlines • Conduct field investigations and site visits as needed • Draft proposals and change orders for review • Produce conceptual layouts in consultation with PM or client • Review hydraulic calculations and utility layouts • Conduct team and client meetings • Provide technical guidance to engineers and senior engineers • Design and review pump station plans • Review contractor shop drawings, RFIs, and change order requests with PM assistance • Process contractor payment requests with PM assistance

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in environmental or civil engineering (FE and PE preferred) • 4–6+ years of civil/environmental engineering experience focused on water/wastewater design • Experience with linear pipeline projects and pump‑station design • Knowledge of water and wastewater treatment plant processes and hydraulic modeling • Proficiency in AutoCAD and OpenRoads • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
