About the Role
The Utility Technician supports station maintenance through scaffolding, insulation, painting, door upkeep, facility upkeep and tool‑room duties. Work is performed independently or in teams under guidance from the Lead Maintenance Technician or Supervisor, following prescribed procedures and safety standards. • Repair and maintain building elements such as doors, walls, windows, lighting, and paint in the power block. • Conduct minor rigging, scaffold and hoist inspections, and handle insulation/asbestos tasks. • Provide labor support for general building and facility maintenance. • Manage tool‑room activities, including issuance of tools and test equipment. • Operate a forklift when required. • Obtain unescorted nuclear access. • Work rotating shifts and travel to multiple power plants.

What You Bring
• Complete Utility Technician training successfully. • Possess prior power‑plant or industrial maintenance experience in HVAC, scaffolding, or tool‑room operations. • Meet one of the education criteria: Navy Nuclear program completion, two‑year associate degree in a technical field, or high school diploma with relevant industrial training and experience.
