About the Role

The Customer Experience Engineer bridges technical expertise with customer engagement to enhance the overall customer journey. This role supports the development and delivery of personalized, technically accurate experiences during customer visits, training sessions, and promotional events. By translating complex engineering concepts into accessible messaging, the position contributes to increased customer satisfaction, brand loyalty, and business growth. The Customer Experience Engineer designs and delivers engaging experiences during on‑site visits, plant tours, off‑site events, and training sessions. They develop and execute comprehensive plans covering pre‑visit preparation, on‑site engagement, and post‑visit follow‑up, personalize interactions based on business needs and past engagements, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging. They collect and analyze customer feedback, prepare technical demonstrations, develop clear technical content for sales and marketing, support trade shows with presentations, improve displays in customer‑facing environments, and perform other duties as assigned. • Design and deliver engaging customer experiences during on‑site visits, plant tours, off‑site events, and training sessions. • Develop and execute pre‑visit, on‑site, and post‑visit plans to maximize interaction impact. • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging throughout the customer journey. • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify improvement opportunities. • Prepare and present technical demonstrations highlighting product advantages and manufacturing capabilities. • Create and review technical content for sales and marketing materials with clarity and accuracy. • Support trade shows and customer events with technical presentations and product insights. • Contribute to the enhancement of displays and exhibits in customer‑facing environments. • Maintain working knowledge of HVAC systems, manufacturing processes, and competitive products. • Perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting up to 25 lb; travel to various event locations.

What You Bring

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and at least five years of experience in HVAC or a related technical field, with a preferred background in customer engagement, sales support, or technical marketing. Candidates must have strong communication, presentation, and writing skills, an analytical mindset for interpreting feedback, and solid knowledge of HVAC systems, manufacturing processes, and competitor products. Physical demands include frequent standing, walking, climbing, occasional lifting up to 25 lb, fine motor handling of presentation tools, and travel to various event locations. • Personalize experiences using business needs, product history, and prior interactions. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 5+ years of HVAC or related technical experience. • Demonstrate strong communication, presentation, and customer‑focused skills. • Possess analytical, writing, organizational, and project coordination abilities.
