About the Role

The QTL‑Crew 3 UP is responsible for upholding unit quality and productivity standards by inspecting the assembly and installation of components such as EVAP coils, compressors, bases, posts, filters, blowers, condensers, and control boards. The role trains team members to assemble sub‑assemblies accurately and quickly, maintains current unit schedules and quality procedures, and schedules production time to meet targets. It also prints and verifies work order packets, confirms part availability, and approves paperwork for sub‑assemblies and end‑of‑line checks, ensuring all QTLs have signed off. Additionally, the employee monitors safety and housekeeping, inspects blueprints, communicates with management, performs minor repairs, and provides production backup as needed. In addition to core duties, the position completes AAON’s Quality Team Leader program and demonstrates leadership, motivational, and flexibility skills to keep employees engaged across multiple teams. The employee provides problem‑solving assistance, builds relationships, works cooperatively, maintains satisfactory attendance, and complies with company policies, including variable schedules and overtime as assigned. • Ensure unit quality and productivity standards. • Verify proper assembly and installation of EVAP coils, compressors, bases, posts, filters, blowers, condensers, and control boards. • Train team members on accurate and efficient sub‑assembly procedures. • Maintain up‑to‑date unit schedules and quality documentation. • Schedule production time to meet targets and validate work order packets. • Confirm availability of required parts such as sensors, valves, motors, and controllers. • Approve sub‑assembly and end‑of‑line paperwork, securing all QTL sign‑offs. • Enforce warehouse safety and housekeeping standards. • Inspect blueprints and assembly drawings for compliance. • Perform minor repairs, adjustments, and provide production backup as needed. • Provide problem‑solving assistance and build relationships with team members.

What You Bring

Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and may benefit from additional education for career development. Required abilities include performing all essential functions, meeting physical demands, assessing work accuracy and color detection, and communicating effectively in written and spoken English. The role requires standing still for most of the time, moving objects weighing 25‑50 lb, navigating the manufacturing facility, operating heavy equipment and tools, and performing repetitive wrist and hand motions. Workers must also climb ladders or stairs, work in tight spaces, and tolerate humidity, loud noise, dust, and extreme temperatures. • Complete AAON’s Quality Team Leader program and demonstrate leadership.
