About the Role

The role involves communicating with Waste Management drivers to resolve problems on residential, commercial, and roll‑off routes. The employee handles incoming service orders, directs drivers, and uses WM’s proprietary software to manage same‑day ticket routing and prepare next‑day routes. Shifts may include overtime, Saturday hours, and up to 15 % travel to meet site dispatchers. Key duties include dispatching drivers based on customer needs, driver locations, and load information, optimizing routes with the service department, and determining daily staffing levels for optimal responsiveness and productivity. What You Bring

This remote position includes virtual training and operates on a 3 am‑7 am CST shift. Strong communication and computer skills are preferred, and experience in dispatch, routing, or logistics is a plus. Qualifications require a high school diploma or GED, at least six months of relevant team‑based experience, and strong multitasking and organizational abilities. Candidates must possess solid computer skills, professional written and verbal communication, and a willingness to learn WM’s software applications.
