About the Role
The role includes designing water transmission and distribution systems, pumping stations, conveyance networks, and treatment facilities, as well as planning master projects and rehabilitating treatment plants. What You Bring
Kimley-Horn's Nashville, Tennessee office is looking for a Civil Engineer with at least four years of experience to join its Water/Wastewater and Utilities team. Success in this position requires a Professional Engineer license (or the ability to obtain one within twelve months), strong municipal engineering experience, proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools, and excellent communication skills. • Minimum 4 years of relevant engineering design experience. • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or eligibility to obtain within 12 months. • Municipal engineering background designing pump stations, pipelines, and water/wastewater treatment facilities. • Proficiency in hydraulic modeling tools such as WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, or InfoWater. • Excellent written and oral communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines. • Entrepreneurial mindset with potential to lead practice, manage clients, and oversee a team.
