About the Role
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for repairing electrical and electronic CNC equipment, programming interfaces, portable air and electric production tools, hydraulic and welding equipment, kinetic burning and drilling machines, as well as facility building and yard maintenance. This role requires a high level of technical skill and coordination with team members across all shop areas while promoting and ensuring a safe working environment. • Ensure safe equipment handling and repair techniques are used at all times. • Advise floor supervisors of equipment repair status. • Work with crews to achieve production goals and meet quality requirements. • Complete accurate documentation, including work orders and log books. • Stop work, alert supervisors, and discuss solutions when issues arise. • Actively identify ways to improve performance. • Maintain a safe work area and clean up after tasks are completed. • Identify equipment problems, find safe timely solutions, and follow inventory processes. • Effectively communicate with crews, supervisors, and office personnel. • Anticipate equipment needs and inform supervisors of status. • Use cost‑effective processes and solutions.

What You Bring
A Maintenance Worker at Veritas Steel works both indoors in a large warehouse and outdoors, regularly exposed to dirt, dust, paint fumes, noise, moving equipment, heavy steel, and other hazards. Required personal protective equipment includes earplugs, hard hats, respirators, safety glasses, and steel‑toed boots with metatarsal guards. • Strong knowledge and experience with electronic controls and PLC programming. • Certified Lincoln Electric controller repair. • Strong background in CNC programming for various machining centers and burn tables. • Possess working knowledge of three‑phase electrical systems.

Benefits
We are expanding and hiring now for our 4th shift opening. The weekend shift runs Friday through Sunday, from 5 pm until 5 am, with shift differentials applied in addition to the base salary.
