About the Role
• Promote safety‑first behaviours, share lessons learned and apply Mace’s HSW framework. • Ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations and support team wellbeing. • Implement robust quality systems aligned with service excellence. • Manage project delivery from brief through design, procurement and construction against programme milestones. • Coordinate tasks and deliverables to support senior leaders and ensure timely, accurate project outcomes. • Oversee project budgets, identify risks, propose mitigations and drive sustainable business growth. • Lead design and consultant teams collaboratively to meet responsibilities. • Direct project team and stakeholders to achieve strategic KPIs. • Network, innovate and utilize Mace’s centres of excellence, control centre and knowledge hub. • Maintain budgetary oversight and negotiate with stakeholders to secure project outcomes. • Apply project management methodologies, construction sequencing knowledge and bidding expertise. • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across property, infrastructure, consultancy and construction sectors. • Incorporate carbon and sustainability considerations into project planning.

What You Bring
The successful candidate will have proven experience managing medium‑sized projects, strong communication, presentation and planning skills, and the ability to oversee budgets and negotiate with stakeholders. A solid understanding of project management methodologies, construction sequencing, and bidding processes is required, along with appropriate professional memberships (e.g., MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE) and a CSCS card or equivalent. • Demonstrate proven experience in managing medium‑sized projects and strong communication, presentation and planning abilities. • Hold relevant professional memberships (e.g., MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE) and a valid CSCS card or local equivalent. • Exhibit commercial and financial acumen, including fee proposal development and project workbooks.
