About the Role
The role provides leadership, vision, and guidance to the engineering team at the Bangalore R&D center, focusing on creating profitable and innovative offers. It ensures the R&D environment is properly set up with the right team competencies, tools, processes, and clear deliverable definitions, enabling efficient delivery. The leader acts as a change agent, encouraging disruption and fostering a culture that is business‑driven, customer‑centric, innovative, and agile. Emphasis is placed on platform development, reuse, and efficiency‑improvement strategies. Technology anticipation and feasibility projects are driven in strategic alignment with the offer management team, while enhancing partnerships with strategic suppliers and global partners. The role also nurtures potential inventions and supports intellectual‑property creation. • Lead and guide the Bangalore R&D engineering team to develop profitable, innovative offers. • Establish and maintain the R&D setup, including team competencies, tools, processes, and deliverables. • Equip the team with appropriate methodologies and tools for efficient delivery. • Build and coach a high‑performance team, providing technical and leadership training. • Foster strong team engagement to ensure high‑quality outcomes. • Champion a culture of business‑driven, customer‑centric innovation and agile practices. • Drive platform‑based development, reuse, and efficiency‑improvement strategies. • Collaborate with marketing, project management, and global functions to align business strategy and workforce planning. • Lead technology‑anticipation and feasibility projects in sync with offer management. • Strengthen partnerships with strategic suppliers and global partners. • Promote invention development and support intellectual‑property creation.

What You Bring
Collaboration with marketing, execution teams, and project management ensures a unified business strategy and effective workforce planning for current and future needs. Strong collaboration skills are required to achieve shared goals across local and global functions. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master’s preferred), with at least ten years of system or intelligent electronic device development experience and eight years of people‑management experience. Domain knowledge in system engineering, V&V, CI/CD, test automation, agile delivery, and strong problem‑solving, learning agility, teamwork, coaching, and fluent English are valued. • Require a Bachelor’s (Master’s preferred) in EE or CS, with at least 10 years of system or intelligent device development experience. • Minimum 8 years of people‑management experience. • Preferred expertise in system engineering, V&V, CI/CD, test automation, and agile delivery. • Strong problem‑solving, fast learning, teamwork, coaching, and fluent English communication skills.
