About the Role
The Program Manager I will assist the Chief Science Director and Human Protections Director with administrative tasks for the Scientific Review Board (SRB) and the Human Research Protections Program (HRPP). The role also involves gathering information for research program taskers, providing workflow recommendations, and maintaining research documents. Additional duties include supporting government efforts to collect tasker information, recommending labor utilization to increase efficiency, compiling documentation for contract actions and proposals, and tracking purchases through dynamic Excel spreadsheets. The incumbent will also perform market research for study budgets, verify sponsor reports, submit proposals and grants via various portals, and coordinate directorate meetings, taking minutes for the Director. • Assist SRB and HRPP administrative tasks for the Chief Science Director and Human Protections Director. • Gather and submit information for research program taskers, ensuring required approvals. • Recommend labor utilization and workflow improvements to increase task order efficiency. • Compile government‑prepared documentation for contract actions and proposals. • Maintain and organize research documents and dynamic Excel spreadsheets tracking purchases. • Conduct market research to develop study budgets and provide data for decision‑making. • Validate that monthly, quarterly, and annual sponsor reports follow guidelines and templates. • Submit government‑approved proposals and grants via eBRAP, grants.gov, CMRDP, and similar platforms. • Coordinate directorate meetings, record minutes, and distribute them to the Director.
