About the Role
As an IT Telephone Tech, you will act as the primary point of contact for telephony and VoIP software requests and manage changes within the Cisco phone platform. The role involves gathering and analyzing telephony requirements, performing data queries, and preparing Excel‑based reports while maintaining attention to detail. You will also support asset management and ensure compliance with workplace safety policies. Daily work includes handling creation, modification, addition, and deletion tasks in the phone system, reviewing tickets through ServiceNow or other IT ticketing tools, and prioritizing assignments with minimal supervision. You will communicate effectively with customers, report any safety or standards concerns, and seek opportunities to improve processes and technology for a better customer experience. • Serve as primary point of contact for all telephony and VoIP software requests. • Create, modify, add, and delete entries in the Cisco phone software platform. • Gather and analyze telephony requirements and generate Microsoft Excel reports. • Receive and review tickets via ServiceNow or other IT ticketing systems. • Prioritize and complete tasks independently with little supervision. • Report standards discrepancies and safety concerns to ensure compliance. • Provide strong customer service through effective verbal and written communication. • Identify and influence process improvements to enhance the customer experience.
