About the Role
As a Diesel/CNG Mechanic you will maintain and repair the fleet of trucks and equipment that serve millions of customers, using modern tools and procedures to ensure reliable operation of both diesel and CNG vehicles. Mechanics are responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicle systems, adhering to standard labor times, responding to emergencies, performing safety checks, documenting work, and supporting senior staff in project tasks. • Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, suspension, brake, and air systems on diesel and CNG vehicles. • Estimate repair time and material costs and work within Standard Labor Repair Times. • Respond to emergency breakdown service calls. • Perform safety inspections on all vehicles and equipment. • Document parts usage and repair hours on required paperwork. • Assist senior mechanics with project work and driver vehicle inspection reports. • Maintain a clean, OSHA‑compliant work environment.

What You Bring
Applicants should have at least two years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license with a clean record, be over 18, legally authorized to work in the United States, and able to meet the physical demands of the role. Desired traits include teamwork, independence, a love of variety, and strong problem‑solving skills. The job involves frequent lifting, climbing, standing, and exposure to typical shop hazards such as cuts, burns, chemicals, noise, and weather conditions, both indoors and outdoors.
